Welcome to the CLEAR Learning System!
Students will have a new
reason to look forward to Sunday School. From everyday, real world
application to daily Bible study and personal evangelism, students and
teachers alike will enjoy these life-changing lessons. The
family-friendly format will make each week's Sunday School lesson a
dinner table discussion! If you are looking for an easy-to-use
curriculum that takes students deeper into the Word of God, your choice
is CLEAR!
CLEAR is an acronym that
stands for five steps in the learning process.
CONNECT captures the student's
attention and brings a need to light. Simply stated, Connect plugs the
lesson into life. It prepares the student to seek God's solutions. The
activities and teaching methods suggested in Connect help teachers meet
students where they are and lead them into Bible study.
LEARN and EXPLORE are
companion sections. Considered the heart of the lesson, Learn and
Explore focus on the truths of God's unchanging Word. Learn and Explore
seek to "rightly divide" the inspired Word of God and handle every
selection thoughtfully and carefully. Scripture passages for each lesson
are carefully selected for both context and comprehension.
LEARN emphasizes simple truths
that students can learn and embrace. Scripture memory is one aspect of
the Learn section, as is biblical literacy and historical context. Learn
presents the facts of the Bible logically and chronologically.
EXPLORE not only explains what
the Bible says but investigates its deeper meaning. It expresses
theological truths in terms non-theologians can understand. Help
students of all ages and backgrounds know what the Bible says and
understand what it means.
APPLY helps students find
life-changing power in the Word of God. It helps the student see how
timeless, biblical principles should be lived out in the 21st century.
Apply not only asks "What does this passage mean to me?" It goes one
step further. By emphasizing the application of biblical truths, it
helps students become "doers of the Word."
RESPOND reminds both teacher
and students that every lesson calls for decisive action. Sometimes,
these decisions change the course of a person's life. Respond encourages
students to say yes to God, surrender self and live in obedience to
God's Word. Focusing on what happens after Sunday School is over,
Respond impacts daily life. In a sense, Respond may never end!
